We had such a blast last week at our event at Bandier in Highland Park Village! Despite a little rain, the turnout was great, and everyone loved the new store and it’s selection of fitness fashion. We were so glad to see people shop for such a great cause like Go Red For Women. Heart health is vital, and so is the message that heart disease doesn’t spare the youth, and is actually the number one killer of women. I’ve witnessed this first-hand, and implore women to take measures to keep their hearts healthy and strong. Besides staying physically fit, to tie in with the theme of the event, nutrition is equally as important, which is why we had Tribal there to serve our guests fresh beet juice, known to promote cardiovascular health.
If you’re interested in supporting the movement, please consider purchasing tickets for the Go Red For Women Luncheon next Thursday February 4th, at the Omni Hotel. I attended last year, and it was a wonderful and very informative event. This year’s keynote speaker will be entrepreneur Lori Greiner, from ABC’s Sharktank. If you aren’t able to attend, you can still participate in the silent auction via mobile bidding.. last year I bid via mobile and won a red rockstud Valentino bag! This year I’ve got my eye on this amazing playhouse (below) for when London gets older..
Outfit Details From the Event:
Bandier Flat Pouch: How cute is this metallic pouch? The perfect accessory to hold your phone, keys, money, etc when you workout… and great for diaper bags too! I like that you can customize it with Bandier’s fun alphabet stickers.
Michi Kali Top: I love this lightweight long-sleeved top with cutout shoulders. It’s a great layering piece to wear to and from class, and is really long if you want to cover up.
Koral Moto Legging: These pants are awesome.. edgy enough to workout in and then wear out after with boots or sneakers. I like that they’re shiny in the front and flat in the back. I wore them to Pilates yesterday and got lots of compliments.

Thanks for stopping by, and to everyone who came out to support us last week!
