With the holidays quickly approaching, I’ve begun the annual task of jotting down my list for Christmas shopping. I pride myself on being a thoughtful gift giver, and begin with thinking about the person. What do they do, where do they go, what may they need, or what may surprise them.. If I’m still stumped (for instance, on that person who has everything), I turn to books.
Everyone loves receiving a beautiful book that they would not have otherwise found for themselves. It’s a thoughtful, inexpensive gesture that pairs great with a lovely scented candle. My favorite candle right now is LAFCO’s scented Holiday Candle Opal Amaryllis (pictured below). I also love Forty Five Ten’s candle in the scent Ten Trees. Both of them create a cozy aroma for the Holiday season.
Below are a few of my favorite books that I have received or given:
This book was given to me by my mother ten days before my wedding. It’s the perfect gift for someone with upcoming nuptials. I adore it.

I received this one from my bridesmaids at my bridal shower, in memory of the fun we had on my bachelorette trip in New York.
Beautiful Christmas present from my sister last year; for my shoe obsession.
Great book if your husband is a golfer like mine.
