Earlier this summer, I was asked to do an interview for Dondolo and their new blog featuring mamas and their little ones. Dondolo’s mission is to empower women and motherhood, a message that I truly love to spread and support:
Motherhood isn’t bound by geography, status, or even genetic attributes. Motherhood is defined by a universal connection so deep, the ties that bind cannot be torn apart.. and born with this connection, is the desire to provide constant warmth, unending nurturing, uninhibited life.
At Dondolo, each individual item of clothing is hand stitched by a single mother in Colombia, thus employing and empowering her. Also, for every item of clothing purchased, another one is provided to a Colombian child in need. This children’s clothing brand exemplifies the model of giving back to a community, which makes me feel good about supporting it.
Not only do we love Dondolo’s mission of empowering mothers to smile more and worry less, we love everything about the adorable pink frances romper that London modeled for our shoot! The fit, quality, attention to detail, and pima cotton are as lovely as can be. This romper has the sweetest bow that ties in the back, but is still comfortable enough for her to play in. We look forward to wearing more beautiful Dondolo garments!
