So it’s been a while since my last post! We went to Florida for a week to visit my husband’s family for Thanksgiving and I’ve just gotten back in my groove.
Prior to leaving town I attended a media preview event for bloggers at the Goop holiday pop up store in Highland Park Village, hosted by founder and tastemaker Gwyneth Paltrow herself. Goop, Paltrow’s e-commerce and media platform that features her carefully curated products, now has a temporary store front in Dallas.. but it’s only here through December 14th so make sure to swing through while on your holiday shopping rounds. Here are a few (iPhone) pics from my tour as well as my favorite items for holiday.
Enjoyed chatting with Gwyneth about her cookbooks which I love, especially my ingredient splattered copy of It’s All Good. She got a kick out of the fact that I make her turkey chili for my secret santa party.
Love the store decor, designed by Michelle Nussbaumer
Clothing, cookbooks, and beautiful blue and white porcelain on a Saarinen table (you may notice the smaller version in our living room). Monique Lhuiller x goop pieces (perfect for holiday parties) hanging in the background.
Beautiful flowers from Taylor Tomasi Hill Blooms were for sale.
Organic, non-toxic makeup from RMS beauty
The pop up carries a wide variety of gift items from Murchison-Hume candles (I grabbed a bunch for presents), cookware, and in-store monogramming to a careful selection of pieces from some of my favorite designers such as Stella McCartney, Monique Lhuillier, Vince, Frame denim, and Jennifer Meyer jewelry. Not surprisingly, the store is a real reflection of Gywneth’s enviable style and good taste.
So happy holiday shopping to all you fellow goop lovers!
