So now that we’re back in the Dallas heat, I’m featuring some swimsuit trends that are conservative yet still sexy. As a nursing mom, I love high (less cleavage baring) necklines, and fell in love with these swimsuits the second I laid eyes on them at Saint Bernard Sports. They are exactly what I had been searching for, and I’ll be sporting them for the remainder of the summer.
I asked my friend (who happens to be a model) Tracy Ripsin to showcase some similar, yet slightly more revealing styles with mesh cutouts. In addition to be being beautiful, Tracy is also a talented and insightful writer, and I’m excited to announce that she will be coming on board as a contributor for Marhow! Although I asked her to model swimsuits, which is surface, Tracy loves writing about topics of substance and will be starting a segment on authenticity and finding your true self.
Now back to the suits. The first is a high-neck, one-piece swimsuit with a scalloped edge by Marysia. I love the textured material and how comfortable this swimsuit is. It’s perfect for moms toting around babies who tug at their tops. London loves yanking at my bikini tops so this one-piece makes me feel safe from wardrobe malfunctions.
Next is a two piece version of the same scalloped edge swimsuit, but in a black and white pattern. I love the low-cut bottoms, that are a bit cheeky. It’s definitely sexier than the one piece, in a flattering way.
Tracy is also sporting a high-neck bikini, but with a high-waisted bottom. I love this covered style, and think that less is definitely more, even on a gorgeous figure like Tracy’s.
Whether you’re going conservative or sexy for the remainder of the summer, you can’t go wrong with the high-neck, covered trend.
