Hi readers, back in the blogosphere!
Took a much needed hiatus and am now ready to refocus. A while back I read a book called Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less which really resonated in me. At the time, I was feeling overwhelmed and struggling with my time management. I decided to prioritize, set the blog aside, and narrow my focus which at the time meant preparing for the holidays, getting organized, home building, and being present and mindful for my family. It was the best decision I could have made because had I not, I would have ended up stressed to the max and exhausted. My point in sharing all this personal insight is that it’s okay to scale back and “prune” your life. If you don’t, the shrubs will start to overgrow the fruits of your labor. Another great resource on the subject is a Cornerstone sermon that made a similar impact on me. You can watch it here if you’re interested.
For my first post back, I’m sharing a look that was taken last spring and never made it to the blog. Perfect for a baptism or formal spring gathering…
